Philippa graduated from the University of Bristol in 2006 before completing three years of full-time specialist orthodontic training at Guy's Hospital, London, and the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, Brighton. During her specialist training, she was awarded an MSc in Orthodontics from King's College London and gained Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, enabling her to join the General Dental Council's Specialist Register for Orthodontics. Her advanced postgraduate training enables Philippa to diagnose and treat both straightforward and complex orthodontic cases using the latest evidence-based techniques.

Alongside her clinical practice, Philippa has a strong interest in education and professional development. Cristina is our dedicated Orthodontic Dental Nurse at Kew Road Dental, working closely alongside Dr Philippa Rudge to support patients throughout their orthodontic treatment. From the initial consultation through to the completion of treatment, Cristina helps ensure every appointment runs smoothly while providing reassurance, encouragement and support throughout each patient's orthodontic journey.

Cristina qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2019 before gaining her qualification in Orthodontic Dental Nursing in 2021. She has continued to develop her clinical skills by completing additional training in Dental Radiography, enabling her to take dental X-rays as part of patient care.

Known for her warm, calm and approachable manner, Cristina enjoys helping both children and adults feel relaxed throughout their orthodontic treatment.

As an important member of the orthodontic team, Cristina works closely with Dr Philippa Rudge to provide high-quality, patient-centred care, ensuring patients receive a positive and supportive experience at every visit.
