We are accepting new patients in Richmond

Whether you wish to completely transform your smile, or are just looking for regular check-ups to maintain the health of your teeth and gums, we have the experience and skills to look after all your dental needs.

On joining Kew Road Dental you will be booked in for an initial appointment. This first visit will include an informal chat so that your dentist can get to know you and so that you can ask any questions you have regarding the condition of your teeth and mouth.

You will then be provided with some protective equipment to wear, including safety glasses and a bib to protect your clothes. Your dentist will carefully examine the inside of your mouth and check for any underlying problems.

Prevention is better than cure and we always focus on identifying and stopping problems before they occur if possible. Regular check-ups and visits to the hygienist are key to helping you keep your teeth and gums healthy.

Many dental problems are hidden and, without a regular check-up, these can go undetected and go on to cause more serious conditions.

Our check-ups include an oral health screen to detect dental decay, oral cancer and gum disease. If anything of concern is identified during the screen then we will provide you with all the appropriate options available.

A comprehensive treatment plan will be provided for you, precisely tailored to your particular needs.

We may take digital x-rays (with your consent) to check for any hidden decay. You will then be able to view the resulting images along with your dentist who will talk you through them.

There will be an opportunity to ask any questions and the dentist will then be able to give you an assessment of your oral health and advise you on any course of action needed. We typically advise a check-up every six months, though those at high risk of decay may be asked to return every three months until their oral health has become more stabilised.

Some patients with healthy teeth and gums may only need to visit the dentist every twelve months, though we recommend continuing to see the hygienist at least twice a year.

Our latest 5* new patient review via Google Business

"I was recommended to go to Andrew at Kew Road Dental by a friend, as I wasn't happy at my old dentist. I am glad my family and I all joined the practice because Andrew is very friendly and reassuring and talks you through what he is doing every step of the way. I was very stressed about going to the dentist through Covid, but the whole place is always spotlessly clean and a high level of safety protocols were followed, which have now been somewhat relaxed in line with government guidance (mostly the type of masks/PPE worn, as hand sanitising, ventilation, general hygiene etc are still very stringent).

Both receptionists I have encountered are also always very friendly and willing to take time to find the right appointment slot you need."
